Jeff Derringer Poised To Release Principle EP on Subtrak (Available August 2010)

Subtrak Spotlight

This August, Subtrak's 27th release, "Principle", comes to us by way of a fruitful collaboration with the resident DJ and creative director of New York’s Oktave parties, Jeff Derringer. The title track of the EP is a high energy floor filler with tribal rhythms and carefully placed samples. Remixes by Techno mainstays Noah Pred, Samuli Kemppi and two by Subtrak's rising star Derek Marin all give their own spin on it. As a bonus, Jeff rounds out the EP with Dovecote, a dubby spacey journey with synthesized strings and eerie melodies. Take a listen to the preview on Soundcloud and let us know what you think, your feedback is most appreciated. Support the underground.

"I like this very much. I dig Noah and Dereks mixes the most for my sets, although I can use the Samuli Kemppi remix some as well. Dovecote is really good as well, quite hypnotic." – Chris Fortier

"Nice package - especially feelin' the Noah Pred & Samuli Kemppi remixes!"

- Riyaz Khan (DIVERSIONS radio on CHRY 105.5FM, Toronto, Canada)

"Nice. Supporting the Derek Marin Mix." – Torin
